Here are just some of the top destinations. Copacabana, Brazil Perhaps the most famous beach in the world, and for good reason too. Phi Phi, Thailand By far one of the most popular tourist destinations in Thailand, visitors should book hotels in advance. Skies are blue from November to January though the weather is still manageable (By British standards) in the rainy season. Waikiki, Hawaii Waikiki is on the island of Oahu and offers a wonderful blend of traditional island lifestyle and cosmopolitan amenities. Summer temperatures can average out to 86F (December – March). This is a popular choice of destination for many celebrities, and surfers during the surfing season. South Beach, Florida South Beach is more of an experience than a holiday destination. As seen in many films and Television series, this place seems to attract the young and beautiful (and occasional surgically enhanced). Despite its popularity, it remains a very clean beach with rich pale sands…that`s if you`re looking at the sand at all. Surfer`s Paradise, Australia Like a religious pilgrimage, visitors flock here in their millions to surf, swim and party. The Golden Coast is home to many tourist attractions to keep you entertained but remember to take plenty of sun screen as temperatures can really soar; particularly between December and February. Bondi Beach, Australia When most people think of Australia, `Bondi Beach` isn`t far behind. It has become synonymous with the tourists that flock to Australia and its ideal location near a major city offers convenience of travel as well as amenities. The stunning views and gorgeous sands make it a place of beauty as well as fun. Aroa, Aitutaki, One Foot Island, Cook Islands Consider this as the `wild card` in the list as Aroa is certainly not known for it`s `popularity` but rather, its sense of tranquillity and unspoiled beauty. Getting there is an experience in itself; it is a coral atoll surrounded by a beautiful lagoon which is ideal for snorkelling, diving and fishing. A real hidden paradise. Clifton Beach, Capetown, South Africa Though this beach is literally minutes away from a large cosmopolitan city, it still offers its visitors a sense of relaxation from the crystal clear waters. Clifton has a very active nightlife which is popular with backpackers and locals alike. Pink Sands Beach, Harbor Island, The Bahamas Ideal for those tourists who are looking for something more intimate. As the name suggests, there is something in particular that makes this beach stand out amongst the others and this has to be the wide-mile stretch of pink sands. The ultimate paradise. Whilst beach holidays are the perfect way to enjoy yourself, whether it be quietly sunbathing or engaging in a spot of surfing; remember to stay safe in the sun…lots of sun protection cream and cover up during the hottest part of the day.
