Moisture Testing Coltech will visit site to carry out floor moisture testing after discussing your specific requirements. We will provide you with a report containing the moisture readings, and interpret them in relation to the type of floor construction and age of the concrete slab or screed. You will then have reliable information on which to base your decision:- ·Is it safe to proceed with laying floorcoverings? ·Have you the time to extend the construction programme to allow for drying? ·Do you need to consider using a surface DPM? Slip Resistance Testing We will discuss your specific requirements before visiting site. If you are requesting tests because of a slip incident, we will need as much detail as possible, e.g. exact location of the incident, wet or dry, manufacturer/installer of flooring, age of flooring, possible surface contaminants, cleaning methods etc. We will then carry out testing on site at locations agreed with you and provide a report of the results, interpreting them with reference to the UK Slip Resistance Group guidelines.
